Key Responsibilities

  • •Support preparation of high-quality bids and tenders for water science services across multiple sectors.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure resources, budgets, and controls meet programme and budget requirements.
  • •Identify, plan, and implement complex monitoring and fieldwork (e.g., water quality monitoring, flow gauging, hydromorphological surveys).
  • •Deliver water science consultancy and advisory services through check and review processes; develop solutions to complex issues.
  • •Produce Water Environment Impact Assessments and related compliance and management deliverables (e.g., WFD/WER, nutrient neutrality) and author project deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience undertaking Water Environment Impact and WFD/WER assessments.
  • •Experience across infrastructure types, planning regimes (Ireland; UK beneficial), and project stages (feasibility to post-construction).
  • •Technical specialization in water science areas such as water quality, hydrology, or hydromorphology.
  • •Ability to write proposals and develop scopes for relevant surveys, monitoring, and assessments.
  • •Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with designers and other environmental specialists.
