Key Responsibilities

•Design engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware and production tooling
•Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions
•Implement test plans and validate tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, and process capability
•Evaluate failures and determine root causes of tooling/part issues
•Manage relationships with vendors/suppliers and provide technical guidance to resolve challenges

Key Requirements

•Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline or commensurate work experience
•Typically 0-4 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions or related field
•3D Modeling skills (CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor)
•Knowledge of Ansys, CAD, Finite Element Methods
•Experience with injection molding, machining, and manufacturing processes
