Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with the Owner through pre-construction, including preparing RFQ documents and supporting conceptual proposal reviews/interviews.
  • •Assist with review/scoring of Progressive Design-Build teams and selection of the most qualified entity; support program and design criteria within budget and schedule.
  • •Verify budget and schedule for the design-build phase; assist with review of a successful GMP and prepare monthly reports for team/executive sessions.
  • •Manage the site acquisition and CEQA process; manage design phase coordination, meetings, and tracking design review comments to resolution.
  • •Monitor onsite construction activities with monthly schedule updates, verify materials/equipment and progress, facilitate stakeholder participation, and coordinate weekly progress/quality/scheduling/field activities; manage contract disputes, schedule variances, change orders (CO/PCO), logs, submittals, RFIs/RFCs, and progress payments approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •15+ years of relevant experience including progressive design-build deliveries.
  • •8+ years of experience in California.
  • •Has experience in new parking garage construction and office TI type construction.
  • •Has experience in the CEQA process and California public works or federal projects, including renovation as well as ground-up new construction, plus 8 years as an owner’s representative.
