Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the product: Own and build key backend services and infrastructure powering the observability platform, ensuring reliable, high-throughput data pipelines and APIs used daily by developers.
  • •Engage with the community: Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, address their challenges, and incorporate feedback into backend architecture and API design.
  • •Tackle technical challenges: Design and implement scalable backend systems capable of ingesting, processing, and querying petabytes of observability data.
  • •Develop tooling and APIs: Build developer-focused tooling and APIs to improve developer experience and adoption.
  • •Collaborate across teams: Work with engineering, product, and community teams to continuously improve platform performance and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development

  • •Experience with Go is a plus — you may occasionally contribute to Go-based services
