Job Summary

Design and deliver high-performance PCB systems for rapid prototyping and product development, enabling advanced experimental validation through custom control and measurement hardware. You’ll own advanced PCB design (high-speed interfaces and power architectures), specify power delivery components, and lead bring-up and debugging of prototypes. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and test engineers, maintain component libraries, and support SI/PI simulation and fault analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and layout advanced PCBs with high-speed digital interfaces and robust power architectures to ensure signal integrity, power stability, and manufacturability.
•Specify and integrate power delivery components such as DC-DC converters, LDOs, and filters for complex mixed-signal systems.
•Lead bring-up and debugging of hardware prototypes using structured testing and fault analysis to support fast product iterations.
•Assist with design and implementation of control and measurement electronics for experimental setups supporting lab validation and characterization.
•Maintain and manage component libraries to ensure accuracy, lifecycle compliance, and reusability across projects.

Key Requirements

•Experience designing multi-layer PCBs with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, USB), including differential pair routing, impedance control, and stackup planning.
•Strong board-level power management background, including power tree design, DC-DC converter selection, and PDN analysis.
•Proficient with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Cadence, with familiarity with DFM/DFT principles.
•Hands-on experience with fine-pitch, high pin-count components (e.g., FPGAs, BGAs), including fanout strategies and via-in-pad techniques.
•Comfortable debugging prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers, with structured fault isolation.
