Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise managers on occupational safety, health, environmental protection, and fire/explosion and plant safety.
  • •Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal HSE requirements.
  • •Create and maintain risk assessments, safety concepts, and emergency plans.
  • •Support safe workplace design, tools, and work processes, including introductions of new raw materials and hazardous substances with risk assessments.
  • •Support emergency response and preventive/protective fire safety, including training, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed training as an industrial master (chemistry) or as a safety professional with long-term experience, or a comparable bachelor’s degree (engineering) in chemistry, safety engineering, environmental protection/technology or equivalent qualification.
  • •Fluent German and good English skills.
  • •Experience conducting audits (including OCS/OE audits).
  • •Serve as the primary contact in emergency situations and have strong technical expertise.
  • •In-depth knowledge of occupational safety (e.g., accident prevention regulations, risk assessments) and very good MS Office skills.
