Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hydraulic design for water distribution and transmission networks and sewer/wastewater networks, including hydraulic calculations, pipeline sizing, and hydraulic reports.
  • •Design pump stations, develop system head curves, and conduct surge analysis for rising/pressure mains.
  • •Carry out hydraulic design tasks such as pressure zoning, control valves, storage tanks, route optimization, feasibility/optioneering, and material selection.
  • •Design combined and separate sewer systems, including area takeoff, flow estimation, wet-well sizing, and rising mains.
  • •Support planning and delivery of water & wastewater infrastructure elements, track workflows and timelines, and ensure compliance with standards, specifications, safety factors, and project briefs.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 7 years’ experience within a consultancy environment.
  • •Strong understanding of pressure and gravity pipe hydraulics for both water and wastewater.
  • •Experience in hydraulic analysis and design of water & wastewater infrastructure (networks, pumping stations, storages).
  • •Experience with conveyance design (water distribution & transmission networks) and sewage/wastewater network design.
  • •Proficiency with tools such as Bentley Open WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS (HAMMER preferred), and working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D (Bentley Microstation/Open Roads Designer desirable).
