Lead seam sealing and related cavity protection operations in the automotive paint shop, ensuring OEM-quality body sealing performance across water leak prevention, corrosion protection, NVH, and appearance. Control manual and robotic sealer application systems, verify calibration and critical process parameters, and drive Kaizen/Lean improvements while enforcing safety and chemical-handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily sealer production activities to meet shift output, takt time, and delivery targets.
•Lead seam sealing, underbody coating, stone-chip coating, and cavity waxing processes, ensuring correct application sequence and coverage.
•Coordinate line balance, manpower allocation, and work assignments during production shifts; support line start-up, changeovers, and recovery after stoppages.
•Set up and control manual and robotic sealer application systems, monitor critical parameters, and verify tool calibration.
•Ensure body sealing quality meets OEM requirements (water leak prevention, corrosion protection, NVH, appearance), enforce safety procedures, coordinate maintenance, and drive Kaizen/Lean improvements.

Key Requirements

•2–4 years of experience in automotive paint shop sealer operations.
•Knowledge of OEM quality standards, safety regulations, and production systems.
•Strong knowledge of automotive sealer processes, application, materials, and corrosion protection principles.
•Willingness to work shifts and support flexible production schedules; basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
