Job Summary

Experienced Lead Construction Superintendent responsible for coordinating on-site activities on large oil & gas projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and enforcing quality and safety standards. Leads multi-disciplinary teams, manages field execution, and ensures compliance with client requirements and Wood’s procedures on high-profile capital projects (>USD 500M).

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee construction and contractor deliverables on site to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with quality and safety compliance.
•Supervise all areas on small projects and/or a subset/discipline on larger projects to maintain project integrity.
•Manage and execute multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
•Ensure work is performed in accordance with quality standards and project requirements, including safety and environmental responsibilities.
•Manage and control project cost and schedule for on-site construction, coordinating installation, commissioning and completion activities.

Key Requirements

•Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects, (> USD 500M) with Construction Management and Site Management focus.
•Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience.
•Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language.
•Must be willing to travel extensively for multi-week periods and have the flexibility to adjust work location to support project needs.
•Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
