Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support works council consultations for initiatives such as new IT systems, compensation programs, reorganizations, and other national or international initiatives.
  • •Provide guidance on individual and collective labor law aspects for Germany and Austria.
  • •Develop and update works council agreements, contract templates, and guidelines.
  • •Support managing disciplinary cases.
  • •Support Health & Safety activities in Germany and participate in global CLR initiatives and projects.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in law (e.g., Staatsexamen, Magister/Magistra, or L.L.M.) and initial relevant experience in employee relations or HR/labor law.
  • •Advanced knowledge of German and preferably Austrian individual and collective labor law.
  • •Experience working with German works councils, preferably in a highly matrixed multi-national environment.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with all levels of the organization.
  • •Fluency in German and English (written and verbal), plus proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot).
