Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of regional mine sites, power plants, and dams, including facilities such as stockpiles, impoundments, tailing dams, and water dams.
  • •Generate conceptual layouts/designs and perform calculations/analyses for channels, culverts, headwalls, detention ponds, operating ponds, spillways, rock drains, check dams, and haulage/access/circulation roads.
  • •Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS.
  • •Develop quantity and cost estimates, and alternative assessments.
  • •Prepare drafts of portions of technical proposals, reports, regulatory agency permits, as well as less complex external and internal documents.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 85,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Valid US Driver's License
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 1 year of employment
  • •Ability to travel
  • •Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D/2D, AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS
