Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Social Studies lessons in line with curriculum requirements and adapt to diverse learning needs
  • •Plan and deliver quality lessons, create materials, and maintain classroom environment to support different learning styles
  • •Assess, record and report student progress, using assessments to align with curriculum and individual needs
  • •Promote the use of media and technology in the classroom to enhance learning
  • •Communicate with parents and participate in staff meetings, PD, and school events to support student development and school culture

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a subject-related degree with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent)
  • •Experience teaching Social Studies, ideally within a British curriculum (preferred but not essential)
  • •Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and support students through engaging, purposeful learning
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and reflective approach
  • •Commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing to the school’s positive, inclusive culture
