Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end technology research or PoC projects with defined scope, milestones, risks, and measurable success criteria.
  • •Analyze global technology trends, start-ups, patents, publications, and competitor solutions for relevance, then apply design thinking to capture needs and generate concept alternatives.
  • •Develop system concepts and functional architectures, including packaging proposals, 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and prototype part development.
  • •Integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, sensing, control, and software elements into functional demonstrators and iterate through design-build-test-learn cycles.
  • •Plan and conduct experiments, establish baselines, analyze data, troubleshoot failures, and deliver evidence-based recommendations based on validated prototypes or experimental setups.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, EEE, ECE, Automobile, Robotics, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong knowledge of automobile technology and vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software interfaces.
  • •Hands-on experience in research, experimentation, and proof-of-concept development from problem definition to a functional prototype.
  • •Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, part/assembly design, basic packaging, and engineering drawings.
  • •Experience with autonomous systems/ADAS and sensors (cameras, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic) plus embedded controllers (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), along with MATLAB/Simulink and programming (Python, C/C++, ROS) and computer-vision or machine-learning workflows.
