Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the full MEP scope on a large-scale data centre project in Hertfordshire, North London.
  • •Oversee planning, coordination, installation, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems through commissioning and handover.
  • •Serve as the primary MEP point of contact for the Owner’s Representative, ensuring transparent reporting and timely resolution of owner queries.
  • •Manage MEP subcontractors and specialist vendors to meet performance, productivity, and quality targets.
  • •Develop and maintain project programmes, track milestones, coordinate meetings, manage budgets/variations with commercial teams, and ensure compliance with design, contracts, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5 years’ experience delivering mission-critical facility design, construction, and mechanical infrastructure environments.
  • •5 years’ experience with mechanical infrastructure systems including HVAC, cooling systems, and water system engineering.
  • •5 years’ experience with data centre operations and working with mechanical contractors and cross-functional project teams.
  • •5 years’ experience with electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures, including documentation maintenance for mechanical designs.
