Job Summary

Lead the residential mortgage sales process for a Financial Center area, owning production from application through closing. Manage a team of Mortgage Loan Originators, coach performance, run business plan reviews, and build referral relationships with realtors, builders, and contacts. Partner with Fulfillment Operations to drive closed volume while ensuring compliance with state and federal lending regulations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential mortgage loans from application through closing for personal production and assigned area.
•Manage a team of at least 5 Mortgage Loan Originators, providing feedback, coaching, performance management, and development.
•Drive personal and team production using local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs; hold business plan reviews.
•Develop referral sources and relationships with Financial Center personnel to build business and referrals.
•Monitor compliance and quality, ensure loan originators attend required meetings, and coordinate intermediary support with processing and underwriting.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent; two- or four-year college degree preferred.
•2-4 years residential mortgage sales experience required.
•In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•SAFE Act registration through NMLS required at time of employment.
