Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive device problem-solving using subject matter expertise.
  • •Define best known methods (BKMs) for device-level measurements.
  • •Collaborate with Global Engineering Labs (GEL) on tester infrastructure needs and measurement framework enhancements.
  • •Account for enabling device measurements required for technology qualification.
  • •Debug and resolve complex measurement-related issues and perform device data analysis to summarize results for customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong background in solid state physics, semiconductor processing, and characterization.
  • •Expertise in operating and automating semiconductor instrumentation (e.g., parameter analyzers, SMU LCR meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, wafer probers, ATE, and bench systems).
  • •Knowledge of software tools and operating systems including Python/C/C#/C++, Unix/Linux, and PJMP/JSL.
  • •Deep understanding of device operation in memory systems including NAND, DRAM, PCM, storage class, and cross-point memories.
  • •Highly motivated with strong data analytical skills and experience automating data analysis methods, plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
