Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot modules (Web, Data, Security, Actuator).
  • •Model and integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL), write efficient queries, and manage schema migrations.
  • •Implement API security controls including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, role-based access, rate limiting, and input validation.
  • •Ensure quality and reliability by writing unit, integration, and contract tests; optimize performance and reliability with caching, connection pooling, async/non-blocking approaches, and pagination.
  • •Contribute to CI/CD and cloud deployment using Docker and Kubernetes concepts, participate in Agile activities (grooming, estimation, code reviews, documentation), and support services in production (on-call optional).

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring Boot, with experience building RESTful APIs and integrating services.
  • •Experience designing and implementing API security using OAuth2/OIDC and JWT, including role-based access, rate limiting, and input validation.
  • •Hands-on with relational data using PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORMs like JPA/Hibernate, including efficient queries and schema migrations.
  • •Proficiency with Git workflows and Maven/Gradle, plus API documentation and testing tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, and Rest Assured.
  • •Ability to handle resilience and scalability (e.g., caching, async/reactive, pagination, and resilience patterns such as circuit breaker/retry/backoff).
