  • •Ensure personnel follow work practices, safety rules, training/licensing requirements, and Union/Management agreements.
  • •Execute work to meet metrics, client services, and equipment/material fulfillment for business unit commitments.
  • •Implement process and procedure improvement teams and projects to meet organizational objectives and targets.
  • •Manage facility operations, fleet assets, and/or warehouse functions to meet safety, regulatory, and quality requirements, including 24/7 coverage across warehouses.
  • •Drive asset preservation through maintenance, repairs, services, and modifications while optimizing maintenance routines and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience in fleet operations, facility management, supply chain/logistics, maintenance, plant operations, or an industrial/operational environment.
  • •Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience in fleet operations, facility management, supply chain/logistics, maintenance, plant operations, or an industrial/operational environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in fleet operations, facility management, supply chain/logistics, maintenance, plant operations, or an industrial/operational environment.
  • •Working knowledge of EEO, Safety, Company/Union/Management Partnership, and employee development programs.
  • •Knowledge of US DOT, MDOT, Federal OSHA, ANSI, OEM safety rules, and cargo/load securement standards; ability to administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
