Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate daily lot operations activities including vehicle movement, staging, parking, inventory management, and sale-day readiness.
  • •Assign workloads and prioritize tasks with supervisors based on operational needs; monitor workflow and productivity for accurate, on-schedule processing.
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact during assigned shifts and provide guidance on operational procedures and process changes.
  • •Promote a safety culture by ensuring compliance with Cox Automotive and Manheim safety standards, observing work areas, and addressing safety concerns.
  • •Train, coach, and mentor Lot Operations Specialists; complete operational reports/inspections/documentation using handheld devices and operational systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 7 years’ experience (or equivalent combination such as 5 years with an additional related degree/certification; or 9 years in a related field).
  • •Valid driver’s license; ability to safely operate manual and automatic vehicles.
  • •Strong knowledge of lot operations, vehicle inventory management, and safety practices.
  • •Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • •Strong communication and leadership skills.
