Job Summary

Lead campaigns to grow the customer base for integrated air and missile defense sensors and naval surface platforms. Collaborate with Raytheon Naval Systems and Sustainment (NSS) Business Development and Naval Power business units to identify new opportunities, build customer relationships, and advise on US and international procurement and acquisition strategy. Develop strategic and country strategies, prepare international licensing and agreements, and partner with Global Government Relations on public policy while traveling about 30%.

•Build and maintain business relationships with potential customers and their US government counterparts.
•Provide subject matter expertise in US and international customers’ procurement process and acquisition strategy.

•Prepare and request international licensing and agreements, and collaborate with Global Government Relations on public policy (with approximately 30% domestic and international travel).

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years’ experience with naval radars, naval shipboard systems, and associated naval operations (or an advanced degree with minimum 10 years).
•Experience with the Aegis Combat Management System Integrated Air and Missile Defense sensors, effectors, operations and capabilities.
•Former U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer with experience with naval surface combat systems, sensors, and effectors.
•Experience with or knowledge of shipbuilding, including installation and testing of the combat system.
•Experience in defense acquisition requirements generation and/or program management.
