Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee instrumentation construction activities executed by EPC and PCC contractors from installation through mechanical completion and client handover.
  • •Ensure instrumentation is installed, tested, and pre-commissioned in line with project requirements, including readiness for commissioning.
  • •Monitor contractor performance for technical compliance, cleanliness, quality standards, and schedule adherence; raise NCRs where necessary.
  • •Coordinate resolution of technical queries, deviations, and change requests with engineering and contractor teams; review proposals, method statements, and work packs.
  • •Coordinate with related discipline leads (equipment, SIP/scaffolding, pre-commissioning/commissioning) and ensure discipline handover documentation/dossiers are complete.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •HNC or higher in Instrumentation or Control Engineering (or related discipline) is preferred; consideration for time-served experience in similar roles.
  • •Demonstrable experience in a similar role on large-scale EPC projects overseeing instrumentation installation (including containment, cabling, preservation, punch out, walkdown, turnover, and handover).
  • •Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.
  • •Ability to oversee construction planning and execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.
