Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect machines for proper guarding and verify cycle times and material loading before shift and after breaks
  • •Check grinders and hydraulic oil level/temperature, and ensure equipment is not slamming at start of shift
  • •Perform PMs, complete PM work orders, and make minor machine adjustments and/or repairs to address quality issues
  • •Handle changeover/startup equipment and record machine issues while submitting downtime reports
  • •Provide assistance to Production Assistants, QAs, other Mechanics, Technicians, and Engineer
