Key Responsibilities

  • •Greet customers and monitor the ticket counter area for compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • •Assist customers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing, including troubleshooting kiosk technology issues and coordinating with IT.
  • •Verify carry-on baggage compliance with FAA/American Airlines policies and process checked baggage transactions and self-tagging/weight verification.
  • •Verify and clear travel documents (e.g., passports/visas) for international travel using Timatic available in the kiosk.
  • •Assist with special needs (e.g., assistive devices, oversized items, non-ambulatory customers, unaccompanied minors) and provide gate information and directions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or international equivalent).
  • •Must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in English (read, write, and understand).

  • •Completion of a pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive background check/fingerprinting; FAA criminal background checks for unescorted SIDA access, if applicable.
  • •Preferred: working knowledge of Sabre or another Passenger Service System; previous face-to-face customer service experience; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
