Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply structural drafting and modeling expertise from conceptual design through construction completion on industrial and mining projects.
  • •Produce high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings for planning, permitting, and construction.
  • •Develop drawings for steel, concrete, and masonry structures, including foundations and industrial facilities.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated design solutions.
  • •Perform site visits/field reviews, gather technical information, support quantity take-offs, and review shop drawings to ensure design intent.

Key Requirements

  • •College diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •6+ years of structural drafting and design experience, ideally in heavy industrial and/or mining environments.
  • •Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with demonstrated 2D and 3D modeling experience.
  • •Solid understanding of steel structures and concrete foundations.
  • •Knowledge of Ontario and National Building Codes and relevant industry standards.
