Provide legal advisory and risk management for FAB Global Corporate Finance activities across multiple geographies. Draft, review and negotiate complex loan, project finance and real estate financing documents; conduct regulatory due diligence; support product rollouts; educate and train the legal team; manage stakeholder relationships and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Structure, draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation for bilateral and syndicated loans across project finance, structured and leveraged/acquisition finance, fund finance, real estate finance and asset finance transactions, debt restructuring and other complex lending arrangements.
•Assist the Head of Legal – Global Corporate Finance & Islamic Banking and work with external counsel and the business in relation to Global Corporate Finance transactions.
•Assist the business with rolling out new products and services.
•Provide legal advisory and compliance guidance to ensure alignment with international and domestic laws and FAB policies.
•Liaise with external authorities and maintain MIS/reports; develop talent and lead the governance of the legal function.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in law
•Master’s degree in law is preferred
•English law qualification
•Minimum of 8 PQE with experience in a reputed bank or law firm, with at least 2 years in a similar role
•Experience with Global Corporate Finance transactions; strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
