Job Summary

Own core financial planning and controlling for an assigned business unit by managing budgeting, forecasting, outlook, and financial reporting. Provide decision-support through financial analysis, guidance, and recommendations on initiatives, products, roadmaps, and strategic plans. Assess and escalate financial risks and performance gaps, support investment governance and approvals, and review business cases, pricing, and capex/opex with governance compliance. Serve as primary finance business partner (SPOC) for business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage budgeting, forecasting, outlook, and financial planning for the assigned business unit, including financial reporting and timely submission of plans.
•Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business initiatives, new products/services, commercial/operational roadmaps, forecasts, and strategic plans.
•Identify, assess, and escalate financial risks and performance gaps and recommend/monitor corrective actions to meet business objectives.
•Review, challenge, approve, and advise on business cases, pricing/promotional initiatives, new products/services, and capital projects; approve PRs/POs and opex/capex in line with budgets and policies.
•Prepare and present monthly management reports and serve as primary finance business partner/SPOC for business unit leadership; support investment governance and investment committee/board submissions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another numerate discipline.
•Professional accounting qualification (Part or Full) such as CMA, CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CPA.
•Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience.
•Minimum 5 years in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, investment appraisal/decision support, and business partnering within the telecommunications industry.
•People management experience is an added advantage.
