Job Summary

Provide effective instruction in general faculty subjects and at least two program-discipline areas for second-language learners in a student-centric environment. Teach aligned to course syllabi and goals, using educational technology and delivering continuous feedback through assessments. Evaluate and advise students, support internships and at-risk plans, and conduct applied research tied to the national innovation agenda. Contribute to policies, committees, course management, curriculum revision, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to implementation of the system-wide strategy and assist with development/preservation of system-wide and faculty/division-specific policies.
•Teach courses aligned with course syllabus and program goals, using educational technology and supporting effective learning in a second-language environment.
•Provide continuous feedback, assess student progress, evaluate students, update grades, and contribute to question banks/coursework assessments as requested.
•Serve as student advisor as assigned, provide recommendations on at-risk action plans, support and mentor students during internships/work placements, and maintain regular office hours.
•Conduct applied research, participate in conferences, mentor student research, serve on committees, and support student groups and activities, along with administrative duties like eCAF/CAR preparation and course management.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s Degree plus a professional certification relevant to the discipline, with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s Degree may be considered with extensive industry experience and industry certification per discipline requirements.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience developing course curriculum per accreditation and international standards, including incorporating educational technology into curriculum and instructional strategies.
