Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with staff engineers to investigate and resolve complex Chromium issues, including upgrade breakages and rendering race conditions
  • •Own the PDF accessibility post-processing pipeline and implement tagging/compliance (PDF/UA, WCAG) for Enterprise PDFs
  • •Build monitoring and testing infrastructure to catch Chromium changes before they reach production
  • •Design accessibility solutions resilient to Chromium’s frequent output structure changes
  • •Contribute to export infrastructure challenges including format optimization and distributed systems reliability

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with Chromium or another browser rendering engine; deep rendering knowledge
  • •Strong C++ skills for complex third-party codebases
  • •Solid Java backend engineering background as the product is built on Java
  • •Experience debugging layered systems spanning multiple codebases and languages
  • •PDF specification knowledge or experience with PDF generation and post-processing
