Key Responsibilities

  • •Greet guests promptly and control the flow of guests entering the restaurant and waiting for tables.
  • •Obtain guest details and estimate/quote accurate wait times using the HOB reservation system.
  • •Direct guests to appropriate locations when on a wait, show guests to tables, and ensure seating before leaving.
  • •Answer guest questions about the menu and venue events, and market current/future shows by placing marketing literature on dining tables.
  • •Maintain host area cleanliness and safety/sanitation standards; communicate wait-time and party/special-event details to door host, kitchen, and Manager on Duty.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15.97 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, and problem solving.
  • •Diplomacy and interpersonal skills to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
  • •Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • •Ability to efficiently seat guests in a high-volume restaurant and maintain the HOB uniform/appearance policy.
