  • •Support/lead the design, development, and/or utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
  • •Support/lead trade studies assessing weapons system performance against threats across kill-chain scenarios.
  • •Apply performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems and determine next system improvements and effectiveness/survivability outcomes.
  • •Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop and implement analytic approaches that produce data for program decisions.
  • •Support/lead the development, implementation, validation, and testing of model-based solutions powering real-time combat decision aids and associated software.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • •Experience with MATLAB or Python.
  • •Experience in at least two areas: systems engineering life cycle; software development/object-oriented design using C/C++ and/or Java; AI/ML and/or surrogate modeling; computation on high-performance computing (HPC).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to the start date, with U.S. citizenship required.
  • •Prefer specific majors such as Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
