Key Responsibilities

  • •Stay abreast of internal and external events, assess their impact on the regulatory policy framework, and influence regulator dialogue on emerging regulation.
  • •Coordinate a consistent global approach to managing HSBC Vietnam relationships with regulators, including timely reporting and disclosure.
  • •Manage ad-hoc and periodic regulator data/report requests by assigning, monitoring, submitting, and reviewing to ensure compliance risk is adequately managed.
  • •Provide counsel to the Country Compliance team and act as a subject matter expert for compliance projects at the country level, including global policy implementation.
  • •Support regulatory compliance logistics and materials for senior management and business stakeholders, including preparation for industry and regulatory dialogue.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of compliance, risk, or regulatory experience in financial services.
  • •University degree in a related discipline.
  • •Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
  • •Strong knowledge of financial services regulations, regulatory protocols, and banking products, including general SBV guidelines.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal/influencing skills with experience managing high-level internal and external relationships.
