Key Responsibilities

•Own and evolve foundational Android infrastructure including modularization, dependency injection, navigation, deep linking, and app lifecycle systems.
•Design and deliver shared libraries and frameworks that teams rely on daily with a focus on developer experience and AI ergonomics.
•Drive Android architecture forward with high-leverage decisions that scale across the organization and open-source where value is created.
•Lead as an AI-native engineer by evaluating and integrating AI development tools and building AI-powered capabilities into the platform.
•Mentor and grow engineers across the Android community, lead architecture reviews, and ensure cross-functional alignment across Cash App teams.

•10+ years of Android development experience with a proven track record of impact at organizational scope.
•BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

•Experience building developer platforms, shared libraries, or internal tooling used across large engineering organizations (preferred).
•AI-native development practice and experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Goose).
