Job Summary

Design and build an AI-native automation toolchain that helps IT and Security teams scale reliable, production-grade workflows across the business. Architect and iterate infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD-driven solutions, mentor early adopter teams, and standardize “build-not-buy” cultural practices. Collaborate across IT and Security to evolve an IT/Sec operating system, champion shared automation/AI methodologies, and drive cross-department adoption to break down operational silos.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, build, and iterate a toolchain combining traditional automation/orchestration with spec-driven design and agentic working, tested across IT and Security.
•Advocate for, mentor, and enable early adopter teams to adopt platforms, capture feedback, and iterate the platform.
•Build self-sustaining practices to standardize and scale the platform across departments.
•Evolve IT operations toward an all-encompassing -as-code infrastructure model through hands-on architecture and design.
•Contribute to the IT/Sec operating system and mentor/level up the IT engineering team to accelerate skills transfer and collaboration.

Key Requirements

•Operate at a Staff or Principal Engineer level in a cloud-native hypergrowth SaaS environment.
•Hands-on builder with strong coding experience, ideally from a platform or SRE team.
•Proven success adopting AI-native workflows by moving beyond experimental prompts into robust production automation or agents.
•Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions), and workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n, Zapier).
•Strong leadership and communication: explain complex technical concepts to non-technical “citizen coders” and executive stakeholders.
