Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed mechanical design analyses and calculations per design basis, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • •As Lead Engineer, direct small or medium mechanical engineering teams and ensure discipline design is delivered within planned schedule and budget.
  • •Plan, organize, and direct discipline execution including scope, deliverables, schedule, workforce resources, interfaces, and corrective actions.
  • •Interpret contractual requirements for engineering execution; identify scope changes and support change notifications and variation orders.
  • •Act as discipline representative in meetings, manage technical documentation and audits, and provide technical direction/review for designers, vendors, and fabrication queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • •15–20 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Seasoned structural knowledge and ability to solve complex problems without assistance.
  • •Strong organizing, motivator, supervisor skills with HSE/TQM and cost-conscious mindset, plus fluent English.
