Key Responsibilities

  • •Use industry-leading computer software while contributing to bridge-specific structural design, bridge assessment, and finite elements analysis.
  • •Support structural inspections and structures renewal feasibility studies across different project stages.
  • •Contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion and help assess existing structures through on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Manage resources and tasks within a structures scheme and support scheme management activities.
  • •Participate in on-site works supervision as part of delivering results for clients.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (advantage).
  • •Good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering and a demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Essential Microsoft Office skills such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint, plus effective verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.
