Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment at a Tyson Foods plant by performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on computer/PLC-controlled machinery. Execute maintenance plans using CMMS, complete accurate documentation, and apply troubleshooting and root-cause techniques to prevent failures. Support continuous improvement initiatives, follow safety procedures (including LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry), and assist with training and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily through annual maintenance plans and activities safely and on time, assisting in training other plant personnel.
•Carry out corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance on computer/PLC-controlled production equipment.
•Use CMMS to develop, execute, and follow up on maintenance activities, including inspections, calibrations, repairs, and rebuilds.
•Apply troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address equipment/system failures and use advanced techniques like thermo-graphic, ultrasonic, and vibration analysis to predict issues.
•Maintain safety and compliance (including LOTO, hot work permit, and confined space entry) and identify/correct hazardous conditions.

•Be willing and able to perform physical requirements, including pushing/pulling/lifting up to 75 pounds.
