Job Summary

Provide effective instruction for general faculty subjects and specialized courses within Real Estate Management for second-language learners in a student-centered environment. Contribute to system-wide strategy and support faculty and division policies. Teach using course syllabi and program goals, deliver continuous assessment and feedback, advise and mentor students, and support applied research aligned with the national innovation agenda. Participate in committees, academic events, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with development and preservation of system-wide and faculty/division policies.
•Teach courses aligned to course syllabi and program goals for second-language learners, using practical, applied approaches and educational technology resources.
•Assess students by providing continuous feedback, monitoring progress, evaluating students, updating grades, and contributing to question banks/coursework assessments.
•Serve as a student advisor as assigned by providing recommendations for at-risk action plans, maintaining office hours, supporting internships/work placements, and monitoring student progress.
•Conduct applied research aligned to the faculty’s interests and the national innovation agenda, and serve on committees and student/group activities while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline, with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s degree may be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per the discipline requirement.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience developing course curriculum aligned with accreditation and international standards, and incorporating educational technology into instruction.
