Key Responsibilities

•Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
•Set up, lay out, fabricate, construct and assemble a wide range of complex sheet metal parts with intricate bends and tight tolerances.
•Utilizes precision measuring equipment to perform non-FAIR inspections on parts and assemblies.
•Calculates complex angles, lengths, bends and odd-shaped parts using geometry, trigonometry and shop mathematics.
•Operates CNC and manually controlled sheet metal equipment and performs bench work to fit parts and obtain desired finish.

•Over 1 year and up to 2 years trades training in sheet metal work
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication
