Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Lands & ROW support for pipeline operations and maintenance, including damage claims, encroachment monitoring, reclamation, drainage improvements, depth-of-cover mitigation, and cathodic protection programs.
  • •Serve as primary Land lead for regional initiatives and Core Projects, aligning land scope, schedules, and customer requirements.
  • •Lead and support contractors and Land Advisors by providing direction, oversight, and quality assurance for deliverables and negotiation outcomes.
  • •Develop and standardize Land Operations procedures, policies, templates, and agreements to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • •Advise internal teams on land-related technical issues and coordinate with regulators, landowners, and government agencies; prepare, review, and manage land agreements using GIS tools and data systems.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of related right-of-way experience in progressive roles, with a Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma (or equivalent post-secondary education), or additional related experience if those are not met.
  • •Strong understanding of federal, state, and Indigenous/Sovereign Nation regulations related to ROW activities and landowner responsibilities.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing ROW for Core Projects and Programs, including pipeline systems, facility interactions, and land acquisition/easement requirements.
  • •Ability to interpret legal plans, titles, deeds, engineering drawings, and land documentation while collaborating effectively with diverse groups.
  • •Must be licensed as a North Carolina real estate agent (or able to obtain it within 18 months of hire).
