Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute input to operating policies, standards, and programs aligned with industry best practices.
  • •Conduct field observations and training observations, providing coaching and technical expertise.
  • •Review functional area KPIs, action requests, and trend reports to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Support compliance by engaging with the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) and address regulatory concerns.
  • •Lead meetings and functional area deep dive/big benchmarking efforts; participate in peer groups, causal evaluations (BCE/ACE/RCE), and CAP products.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science (or 2 years of related nuclear power plant experience substituted for the degree).
  • •Eight years of power plant experience.
  • •Subject matter expertise in Human Performance (HU), KPIs, Significant Operation Experience Review (SOER), and INPO Industry Reporting and Information System (IRIS).
  • •Knowledge of external oversight organizations (WANO/INPO, NSRB, IAEA) and working with licensing and the nuclear regulator.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance governance and oversight, Corrective Action Program (CAP) elements (Action Requests, Observation Program, Self-Assessments, Benchmarking), and maintenance fundamentals; experience with maintenance leadership/supervisory role; familiarity with ISO 17025 and SAP.
