Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor dredge pipeline systems (suction, discharge, and shore connections).
  • •Control opening/closing of valves, pipe joints, and floating/shore pipeline sections.
  • •Assist in connecting/disconnecting floating pipelines during dredging and reclamation operations.
  • •Monitor pressure gauges and flow rates; report abnormalities to the Dredge Master/Chief Engineer.
  • •Perform routine inspection/cleaning/maintenance, detect and rectify minor leaks/blockages, and support emergency response.
  • •Keep records of pipeline operations, maintenance, and incidents as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic STCW training certificate and medical.
  • •CoC as Rating forming part of Navigation Watch.
  • •5-10 years’ rank experience on modern TSHD.
  • •Follow safety procedures during high-pressure pumping and pipeline handling.
  • •Ability to monitor pipeline gauges/flow rates and report abnormalities to the Dredge Master/Chief Engineer.
