Key Responsibilities

  • •Curate and manage the wine selection, including selecting wines for the wine list, purchasing inventory, and maintaining cellar conditions.
  • •Recommend wines to guests based on preferences, food choices, and budget, and ensure high guest satisfaction.
  • •Conduct wine tastings and provide wine education sessions for staff and guests to improve knowledge.
  • •Ensure proper storage and handling by monitoring temperature and humidity to maintain quality and prevent spoilage.
  • •Develop and update wine lists and promotional materials, collaborate with kitchen staff on pairings, and train/mentor staff on wine service and etiquette.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years working experience; 3 years relevant working experience.
  • •Knowledge of grape varietals, wine regions, vintages, and flavor profiles to recommend wines.
  • •Experience with wine inventory management (stocking, rotation, cataloging, and storage conditions).
  • •Ability to provide attentive, personalized guest service and handle guest questions and preferences.
  • •Certificate in Hospitality or a related field.
