Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload goods and materials using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork, deliver documentation after route completion, and perform routine truck service (e.g., checking oil/water/gasoline/air) and report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical since trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
