Job Summary

Risk-focused role supporting Zurich North America by conducting risk assessments of strategic initiatives and programs, delivering deep-dive reviews, sharing risk insights with ERM and Internal Controls, and advising on risk tools and governance materials to strengthen the Three Lines of Defense.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct risk assessments on strategic initiatives, operational areas, business projects, and insurance products per ERM framework.
•Execute targeted deep-dive reviews to identify material risks, themes and improvement opportunities.
•Act as a conduit for risk insights, supporting risk reports, dashboards, and governance materials.
•Strengthen risk awareness by communicating observations to Assurance Partners and coordinating across the Three Lines of Defense.
•Support First Line of Defense in adopting risk tools, systems, and methodologies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 87,200 - 142,700 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in the Risk Management area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7+ years of experience in the Risk Management area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate’s Degree and 5+ years in Risk Management AND
•Risk Management and/or insurance industry underwriting, actuarial, reinsurance and/or claim operations experience
•Experience in development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management manual, contract manual and risk management website
•Advanced analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills
•Strong project management skills
