Job Summary

Develop and test simulation models for power plants used in Emerson’s Ovation products as part of the Digital Transformation team. Own modeling, tuning, functional design documentation, and data collection activities within project budget and schedule. Participate in project reviews, support expert review and standalone testing, and lead system integration for simulator projects with a 4–5 engineer team. Support factory acceptance testing and follow department quality procedures.

•Model, test, and tune assigned systems and sub-systems within the project budget and schedule.
•Prepare, review, and submit project data collection lists and functional design specifications to the project lead.
•Review marked-up P&IDs and support pre-factory acceptance tests and factory acceptance tests in India or overseas to meet customer requirements.
•Follow department quality procedures, complete quality checklists, and prepare systems for expert review and standalone testing.
•Lead integration of systems and sub-systems for testing and collaborate with the global modeling team.

•Minimum English proficiency for speaking and writing.
•Ability to work in a team and travel/work abroad 30–40% of the time.
