Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; diagnose issues and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform safe repairs and preventive maintenance on pump, power, and HVAC equipment in the shop and when traveling to customer job sites as required.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures on customer locations and handle repairs, individually or with another technician team.
  • •Maintain complete, timely daily electronic documentation/work orders for all work performed.
  • •Assist with ordering parts and with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and reading/understanding schematics.
  • •Ability to provide superior customer service and demonstrate teamwork with strong verbal and written communication.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred (able to obtain within 6-12 months), with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
