Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide MFLC non-medical, short term, walk-around counseling directly to eligible service members and family members at assigned locations, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referrals, and follow-up
  • •Deliver trainings and health and wellness presentations; participate in base activities and health fairs
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone, web, or fax; maintain confidentiality
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with installation personnel and community resources to ensure MFLC services meet installation needs
  • •Respond to critical incidents and on-demand events; adjust schedule to meet urgent requests as directed by POC/OSD program manager

Salary: USD 59,522 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in a Mental Health related field from an accredited program
  • •Active, unrestricted independent counseling license in any US state
  • •Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience
  • •Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, video-conferencing)
  • •Must have US citizenship and fluent in English; valid US passport and ability to travel to overseas locations for 6–12 months
