Job Summary

Own end-to-end frontend features for an AI Copilot product used by customer service agents and administrators. Build accessible, performant, maintainable UIs with React and TypeScript using the Garden design system, partnering with Product Design and working closely with backend and ML teams to integrate streaming AI responses, handle latency, and support graceful failure states. Contribute to frontend architecture, improve reliability and performance, and mentor junior engineers through reviews and pairing.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and deliver end-to-end product features from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and iteration with a frontend focus.
•Build accessible, performant, maintainable UIs in React and TypeScript using the Garden design system.
•Partner with Product Design to turn designs and prototypes into production-ready interfaces and evaluate tradeoffs.
•Integrate AI-powered capabilities into reliable, user-facing features, including streaming responses, latency handling, and graceful failure states.
•Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, improve reliability and performance by addressing technical debt, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•5+ years building and operating large-scale, internet-facing web applications.
•Strong proficiency in frontend development including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and browser platform fundamentals (state management, performance, accessibility).
•Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services, including comfortable reading and making small backend changes.
•CI/CD experience and frequent production shipping.
•A track record of owning features end-to-end and delivering high-quality results.
