Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and diagnose issues using real-time information.
  • •Perform safe repairs and preventive maintenance for pump, power, and HVAC equipment (including generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; complete repairs and paperwork/electronic documentation daily.
  • •Use laptops/tablets comfortably, order parts as needed, and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required, operate/set up equipment individually or with another technician, and assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate tonnage/kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; high school diploma and trade school certificate preferred.
