Job Summary

Perform a variety of construction and/or paving duties in a utility role, moving between tasks as project needs require. Support safety by following all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures, including proper PPE use. Assist construction and paving crews with manual labor, materials handling, traffic control device placement, and basic equipment operation and signaling under supervision. Maintain regular attendance and follow directions on assigned job sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by complying with safety policies, procedures, and using appropriate tools and equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA regulations; report problems to the appropriate managers.
•Assist construction/paving crews with tasks such as shoveling and raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into paver.
•Signal construction equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials placement.
•Follow direction of the foreman for daily tasks, including placing and dismantling signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
